Build the backbone of Agentic AI with inca! ✨

As a Venture Development Intern (m/f/d) , you’ll be the operational right hand to our founders (ex BCG-project leaders). You’ll sit at the intersection of Strategy, Sales, Product, Ops, and Finance - helping us to revolutionize the claim management industry.

Who We Are

We are inca - a venture-backed startup on a mission to revolutionise insurance claims through Agentic AI .

We bring Agentic AI to the insurance industry with a no-bullshit approach, delivering cutting-edge results, where others overpromise.
The market is on fire: we’re flooded with inbound interest from insurers eager to transform their claims processes.
Our team combines former BCG Project Leaders, industry- and AI-experts. Together, we’re redefining how insurers are operating in Europe.
We're backed by top-tier VCs from one of the most competitive InsurTech Seed rounds in Europe

Tasks

Experience what it actually means to scale a venture-backed AI startup:

Tailor the internship to your strengths: We play to your natural talents. Deep-dive into specific tracks:
Product & Tech: Get close to the product and translate complex insurance needs into product features.
Operations & Finance: Build the foundational systems and reporting structures for our next growth phase.
Founder exposure: Work directly with the leadership team and help driving our most critical topics forward.
Build, Ship, Repeat: Tackle real-world problems, your work creates measurable impact

Requirements

Who we are looking for?

Standout candidates who love "owning a thing" and pushing it over the finish line:

Your Background: Advanced student or recent graduate in Business/Management (Finance, Economics, etc.) OR a Technical field (CS, Engineering, Physics). We care about your ability to solve problems, not just your major.
Drive. Drive. Drive. You take charge, think clearly, and execute with sharpness and commitment.
Tech-Affinity: You understand AI concepts and software logic. You can talk to engineers as easily as you talk to investors.
Generalist Mindset: You enjoy jumping between topics - one hour you’re analyzing financial spreadsheets, the next you’re optimizing a technical workflow.
Analytical & Structured: You can take a messy problem, break it down into data-driven insights, and propose a clear solution.
Digital Native: You should be comfortable with Excel/Sheets, CRM tools, and Notion - and eager to adopt new software quickly.

Benefits

Why us?

Real AI, Real Responsibility: Work on actual agentic systems with real users - no toy projects.
No-Bullshit Culture: Direct feedback, high ownership, and a team that cares about getting things done.
Steep Learning Curve: Learn how a venture-backed startup is built from the inside - from strategy to execution.
Location. Berlin-based, hybrid-friendly, regular off-sites and founder exposure.
Plus: all the perks you’d expect - and the momentum of building something that actually matters.

Sounds like you?
