Senior Clinical Research Associate position at ICON overseeing clinical trial monitoring and site management. Leads technical monitoring activities ensuring protocol adherence, regulatory compliance, and quality standards across multiple sites in a sponsor-dedicated model.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor clinical trial sites for protocol adherence, regulatory compliance, and GCP standard maintenance
  • Conduct site visits to evaluate performance, resolve issues, and provide operational support
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on timely and accurate data collection and reporting
  • Train and guide site staff and other CRAs on clinical trial conduct standards
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with site personnel and stakeholders

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in scientific or healthcare-related discipline
  • Extensive clinical research associate experience with deep knowledge of trial processes and regulations
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple sites and projects concurrently
  • Proficiency in monitoring practices, data integrity, site management, and clinical trial software
  • Fluent in German and English
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and stakeholder management capabilities
  • Willingness to travel approximately 60%
