The Security Personnel (Job Grade upon expertise) in EU Region serves as an individual contributor responsible for executing Global Security & Risk Management strategies across European operations. This role focuses on operational security execution, incident management, compliance assurance, and risk mitigation, ensuring alignment with global industrial security standards.
Reporting remotely to the global Security & Risk Management function, the role works closely with EU local management, operations, and key stakeholders to support secure logistics execution. The position acts as a critical bridge for EU security performance and the operational realities.
EU Security Strategy & Compliance Oversight
Execute and support the implementation of global security policies, standards, and procedures across EU operations in alignment with TAPA, C-TPAT, AEO, and corporate requirements.
Conduct security assessments and audits at warehouses, offices, and vendor locations; document findings and support follow-up actions with site management.
Track corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and report status to the global GSR function.
Monitor EU regulatory and compliance requirements and support local teams in maintaining adherence
Identify, assess, and monitor risks related to cargo theft, facility security, transportation routes, and supply chain vulnerabilities.
Support or lead security/safety incident, investigations, including evidence collection, root-cause analysis, and report preparation using global templates.
Coordinate incident escalation and response with cross-functions, local leadership, law enforcement, and insurance partners as required
Client Engagement & Program/Project Support
Act as a EU security point of contact for EU-based and Global programs/projects, under the guidance of the Global Security and Risk management function.
Support the design and execution of end-to-end security plans for sensitive shipments, including route risk review and control recommendations.
Ensure execution consistency with client-specific security requirements and internal standards
Prepare regular and ad-hoc security reports (audit results, incident summaries, risk observations, KPIs) for the local leadership and global Security & Risk Management function.
Maintain accurate security documentation, records, and evidence to support audits and certifications.
Support updates and local adaptation of security procedures in alignment with corporate governance
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in security management, preferably within the logistics or freight forwarding industry.
Proven track record in managing compliance with international security standards such as TAPA, C-TPAT, AEO, etc.
Experience working with high-value cargo projects.
Knowledge of EU regulatory environments and supply chain security risks.
Attention to detail and robust problem-solving abilities are necessary for leading security and risk-related tasks with precision and efficiency.
A client-focused mindset is important, including the ability to handle pressure associated with demanding projects and to remain responsive to client needs.
