We are looking for a hands-on Senior Frontend Engineer (all genders) to own both of our websites. https://jobeax.com/link/AFPBw0UfsU3Q2rC4 is the home of SCAYLE Commerce Engine , our enterprise platform for leading fashion and lifestyle brands. https://jobeax.com/link/orRxdJFhBtCX1Y70 is the home of SCAYLE STUDIOS , our AI photo studio with self-service sign-up and checkout. Until now, an agency ran our websites. We are bringing everything in-house to move faster, build more ourselves, and turn our most important channel into a real growth engine.
- Execute https://jobeax.com/link/AFPBw0UfsU3Q2rC4 Replatforming: Transition from WordPress to a modern, AI-enhanced stack to accelerate deployment, eliminate agency reliance, and maintain an engaging, high-performing, premium UX.
- Spearhead SCAYLE STUDIOS Web Experience: Assume ownership of https://jobeax.com/link/orRxdJFhBtCX1Y70 to build high-converting navigation, landing pages, onboarding flows, and activation-focused modules.
- Advance SEO, GEO & Site Speed: Manage technical SEO and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) to maximize search and LLM indexing while maintaining optimal speed across media-rich sites.
- Enhance Analytics & Conversion Rates: Collaborate with the Demand team to implement event tracking, A/B testing, and conversion metrics to systematically optimize user journeys.
- Foster Cross-Functional Alignment: Work directly alongside Content, Product, and Demand units to quickly transform growth initiatives into live, high-performing web experiences.
- Adopt AI & Empower Non-Technical Teams: Embed AI coding tools (such as Claude Code) into engineering workflows and build secure, streamlined publishing pathways for non-technical stakeholders.
Qualifications
- 5+ Years Senior Hands-On Development: Proven web development experience in B2B/SaaS or marketing, combining a hands-on coding mindset with an eye for design and UX .
- Modern Stack & Migration Expertise: Strong proficiency in HTML , CSS , JavaScript / TypeScript , and Ruby on Rails (Hotwire), plus WordPress knowledge to drive a clean migration to a headless setup or React/Next.js stack.
- Performance, SEO & GEO: Deep understanding of Core Web Vitals, media/video optimization, CDNs, technical SEO, and emerging AI/GEO search strategies.
- Conversion & Product Focus: Track record of building high-converting landing pages, sign-up flows, and payment integrations (e.g., Stripe) backed by A/B testing and tracking .
- AI-First & Builder Mindset: Fast-moving ownership mentality utilizing AI tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor) to ship quickly.
- Communication & Location: Fluent in English (German is a plus).
