Data Integration Specialist - Procurement Technology & Data Integration - Koblenz / Hybrid

(Tech stack: SQL, Data Integration, SAP, ERP Systems, Data Mapping, Data Transformation, Middleware, Lobster, REST APIs, CSV, Databases, System Integration, Data Engineering, Troubleshooting)

Are you a hands-on Data Integration Specialist or Data Engineer who enjoys working with complex data environments and solving challenging integration problems? Do you have strong SQL skills and experience mapping, transforming and moving data between different systems? If so, this is an exciting opportunity to join an innovative technology business developing solutions that help global organisations gain greater transparency and efficiency across their procurement operations.

Our client is a rapidly growing technology business helping major international organisations optimise procurement and strategic spending through intelligent software solutions. As part of continued growth, they are looking for a Data Integration Specialist to join their team in Koblenz. You will play a key role in integrating the company's software platform with large enterprise customers, working directly with complex SAP and ERP environments and ensuring that data flows reliably between systems.

This is a genuinely hands-on position where you will be involved throughout the integration lifecycle. You will map and manipulate data between source and target systems, configure integration profiles and work with SQL, databases, REST APIs, CSV and middleware technologies. A significant part of the role will involve integrating the company's software into much larger customer and vendor environments, troubleshooting technical issues and developing practical solutions when integrations don't behave as expected. Experience with Lobster or similar middleware platforms will be particularly valuable.

You'll work closely with customers, software engineers, product teams and external technology partners to understand integration requirements and deliver robust solutions. You will also provide technical support across customer projects, investigate 2nd and 3rd level issues and contribute to the development of new system landscapes. The ideal candidate will be a natural problem solver who enjoys getting into the detail of data and systems rather than simply managing projects from a distance.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Data Engineer, Data Integration Specialist, Integration Consultant or technically minded IT Consultant looking for a role where you can take real ownership of complex integrations. You'll work with well-known international customers, modern technology and a collaborative team while developing your expertise across data engineering, enterprise integration and procurement technology.
