About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Data Center Technician for freelance/contract work in Paderborn, Germany . This is an on-site position supporting mission-critical infrastructure at premier data center facilities.
Compensation
€22-30/hr (EUR hourly)
Rates vary based on experience level and project complexity. Emergency and after-hours work may qualify for premium rates.

Key Responsibilities
Perform hardware installations, decommissions, and migrations
Execute structured cabling (copper and fiber optic)
Conduct server racking, stacking, and labeling
Perform cross-connects and patch panel work
Troubleshoot connectivity and hardware issues
Document all work with photos and detailed notes
Coordinate with remote NOC and client teams
2+ years data center or IT infrastructure experience
